This is a Managed Open Play. All court assignments and rotations are handled by the Open Play Manager, with the help of our Next Up paddle rack system.
Games are played to 11, win by 1, using standard scoring. After each game, all four players must rotate off the court.
Upon arrival, feel free to head out to an available Open Play court and start warming up. When Open Play starts, you will play your first game with these players.
For this first game, the players on the court will decide partner pairings. All future partner pairings will be determined by the paddle rack system.
If upon arrival the Open Play courts are full, just place your paddle in an available slot in the paddle rack, starting from left to right.
When you rotate off the court, place your paddle in an available slot as directed by the Open Play Manager.
Keep an eye on where your paddle is located in the rack. The Open Play Manager will slide the Next Up marker and announce court assignments and pairings upon availability.
We know that some players may want to arrive a little late, leave a little early or occasionally sit-out a round. All of this is aok in our summer-style Open Play 8:1.
